Rating and reviewing courses

Squabbit now lets you rate any golf course with a star rating and write a review to share what you thought of it. Ratings and reviews help other players decide where to play, and they give you a quick sense of a course before you tee it up.

The redesigned course page

The course page has a fresh look built around a photo header at the top, a tabbed layout that keeps everything organized, and a reviews section you can scroll through.

The rating summary

A course's overall rating summary appears above the scorecard, so you can see how the course is rated at a glance without digging through the reviews. It reflects the combined star ratings left by everyone who has rated the course.

Leaving a star rating and review

To rate and review a course:

Your rating and review are shared with other players, and your rating is rolled into the course's overall rating summary.

Reading other players' reviews

To see what other players think, open the course and scroll through the reviews section. Each review shows the player's star rating alongside what they wrote, so you can quickly gauge how a course is regarded before you play it.

Tip: The more players who rate a course, the more reliable its overall rating summary becomes. If you enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) a round, leaving a quick rating helps everyone who plays there next.
